Refund Policy

Art Gallery Refund & Return Policy

At QUIMERA GALLERY, we want you to be completely satisfied with your acquisition. We understand that art is a personal investment and an emotional connection. Please review our policies regarding returns, refunds, and cancellations below.

1. Physical Artwork (In-Gallery & Online)

  • There are no returns on purchased artwork. All sales are final.

  • Refunds: Applies only if an item is received damaged by delivery.

  • Exchanges: If you love the artist but the specific piece doesn't fit your space, the artist can choose to offer a gallery credit of equal value toward another one of their pieces.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following sales are considered final and cannot be returned:

  • Commissioned Works: Custom pieces created specifically for a client.

  • Sale/Clearance Items: Any artwork purchased during a promotional "final sale" event.

  • Digital Media/NFTs: Due to the nature of blockchain transactions and digital downloads.

  • Damaged Items: Art that has been altered, framed by a third party, or damaged while in the buyer's possession.

3. Shipping & Damages

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for paying return shipping costs and ensuring the artwork is fully insured during transit.

  • Damaged in Transit: If an item arrives damaged, please take photos immediately and contact us at [quimeragalleryatx@gmail.com] within [24/48] hours. We will work with the courier and the artist to provide a repair, replacement, or full refund.

4. Deposits & Commissions

  • Holding Deposits: Deposits made to "hold" a piece of art is typically refundable but may be applied as gallery credit if the sale is not completed within 3 days. If more than 3 days the deposit is nonrefundable.

  • Commission Milestones: For custom orders, the initial deposit (usually 50%) is non-refundable once the artist has begun the work.
